Got some old bikes and a disused railway track near you? #cycling

August 27, 2009

Get on your Locobike!

These guys were mucking about and they came up with this invention- now they are trying to make it legal. All was going well on the disused railway tracks on the north coast of NSW until they hit some lantana.

  1. That’s way cool! There are a few (largely unused) rail lines near my home town of Clarendon in Victoria, might have to try this next time I’m back there.

  2. There are a heap of organizations in Europe and USA that do “Rail-Cycling” with specially constructed outrigger bikes on disused rail lines. There are plenty of disused tracks around Victoria, does anybody know of the legal issues (or care!)

    Cheers
